C.G. Fails & Associates was formed as a sole proprietorship in July 1992. Located in Detroit, the Firm is dedicated to high quality tax preparation/planning, payroll, financial, and accounting services to its growing client base.
The Firm's associates are nationally trained and experienced accountants with emphasis on consulting for individuals and their related entities. The Firm has gained expertise in taxation, financial planning, small business consulting, business plan support and other special concerns required by the Firm's entrepreneurial client base.
With several professional associates, C.G. Fails & Associates can offer both depth and familiarity. Known as the "Small Business Specialists", the Firm has found its niche with minority up-starts that rely on us to be aware and react to the more specific and unique needs of our clients.

BIO
Founder and Managing Partner of C.G. Fails & Associates, LLC located in city of Southfield, Michigan. Founded in July of 1992, the Firm is dedicated to high quality accounting services and tax preparation/planning to its growing client base.
Mr. Fails, a native Detroiter was educated in the Detroit Public Schools System graduating from Cass Technical High School. Mr. Fails continued his education at Howard University's School of Business and Public Administration in Washington, D.C. completing his accounting studies in 1988.
Mr. Fails' work experience started at First Federal of Michigan with a staff position in the Mortgage Servicing and Tax Escrow departments and Marine Midland Bank, N.A. in New York City as an analyst for middle markets in the Direct Investment Finance and Wall Street departments. In 1990, he joined the music publishing firm Del Von Music, Incorporated in Detroit, as their senior corporate accountant of Publishing and Royalty Recoupment. In 1991, Mr. Fails was promoted to Controller of the corporation and stayed in that capacity until starting his own accounting firm.
Over the years the Firm has gained a wealth of expertise in areas of accounting, taxation, small business consulting, business plan support and other special concerns required by the Firm's entrepreneurial client base.
